2640 W three-phase servo with Hiperface feedback
The MH31401P06A2200 is a Schneider Electric MH3 series servo motor delivering 2640 W continuous power from a three-phase supply, with a nominal speed range of 1000 to 3500 rpm depending on the drive voltage and model (LXM52 or LXM62). It carries a single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, which provides absolute position feedback within one revolution — suitable for applications that need position hold at power-down without a battery-backed multi-turn count.
Torque delivery across the speed range
Nominal torque varies with the drive input: 82.84 lbf·in (9.36 N·m) at 115 V three-phase, dropping to 63.90 lbf·in (7.22 N·m) at 400/480 V three-phase — the torque constant is 1.2 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. Peak stall torque reaches 353.1 lbf·in (39.9 N·m) across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving the motor headroom for acceleration under high-inertia loads or short-duration overload events. Maximum mechanical speed is 4000 rpm, and the maximum radial force at the shaft is 1930 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1340 N at 3000 rpm — this matters for belt-driven or overhung-load applications where bearing life depends on radial load at speed.
Mounting and mechanical interface
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 5.5 in (140 mm) flange size, four mounting holes of 0.4 in (11 mm) diameter on a 5.1 in (130 mm) centring collar with 0.1 in (3.5 mm) depth — this matches the standard IEC frame pattern for a 140 mm flange servo. Shaft is 0.9 in (24 mm) diameter, 2.0 in (50 mm) length, smooth (no keyway) — the smooth shaft requires a clamping-type coupling or a set-screw hub with a flat machined by the integrator. Electrical connection uses rotatable right-angled connectors, which helps route cables in tight panel layouts without bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius.
