The MH31403P02A2200 delivers 22.17 Nm nominal torque at 750 rpm, with a continuous stall torque of 24 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range. Peak stall torque hits 75 Nm — that's the short-term ceiling for acceleration or overcoming a jam, not the continuous rating.
Encoder feedback and electrical interface
The multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder gives absolute position over 4096 revolutions — no homing cycle on power-up for rotary axes that don't rotate past one turn. The SinCos analog tracks interpolate to sub-micron position resolution at the drive's sine/cosine input. Stator resistance is 0.22 Ω and inductance 3 mH, with a back-EMF constant of 85.9 V/krpm. The torque constant is 1.33 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature. These numbers set the current-loop tuning range for the matching Lexium drive. Electrical connection is via rotatable right-angled connectors — the cable exit angle can be oriented without opening the motor, which simplifies routing in tight cable tracks or drag chains.
Mechanical envelope and mounting constraints
The motor flange is 140 mm (5.5 in) with a 130 mm centring collar and 3.5 mm collar depth — standard IEC frame for a motor of this power class. Four mounting holes on an 11 mm diameter bolt circle. The overall length is 232 mm (9.1 in) with a smooth shaft, 24 mm diameter, 50 mm shaft length. Maximum radial force at the shaft nose is 2420 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1670 N at 3000 rpm. Belt-drive or pulley applications must respect this force limit — exceeding it shortens bearing life, not immediate failure.
Environmental sealing and cooling
IP65 rating — the motor body is sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. Suitable for washdown zones or dusty environments, provided the cable connector is fully mated and the shaft seal is intact. Cooling is natural convection; no external fan or coolant circuit needed at the 4.75 kW continuous rating.
