Torque and speed across the drive lineup
The MH31403P06A2200 delivers a nominal torque of 22.17 Nm at 750 rpm when paired with an LXM52 or LXM62 drive on a 115 V three-phase supply. At 400 V or 480 V three-phase, the nominal torque drops to 13.06 Nm at 3500 rpm, while the continuous power rating holds at 4750 W. Peak stall torque reaches 75 Nm across the 115...480 V three-phase range, giving a 3.4× overload margin over the continuous stall torque of 24 Nm. The maximum mechanical speed is 4000 rpm, so the 3500 rpm nominal speed leaves headroom for field weakening.
Encoder, shaft, and environmental fit
The single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides absolute position feedback within one revolution — no homing sequence needed on power-up for rotary axes that stay within a single turn. The smooth shaft (no keyway) and the absence of a holding brake mean this motor is intended for applications where the load is held by the drive's holding brake or an external mechanical brake. The rotatable right-angled connectors simplify cable routing in tight cabinets.
Sizing constraints for the application
Maximum radial force at the shaft is 2420 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1670 N at 3000 rpm. Belt-driven loads must respect this curve to avoid bearing overload. The stator resistance of 0.22 Ω and inductance of 3 mH set the electrical time constant at 13.6 ms, which the drive's current loop must accommodate.
