Maximum mechanical speed is 4000 rpm, with nominal speed options at 750, 1750, or 3500 rpm depending on the drive and supply voltage pairing — the 750 rpm variant delivers higher torque at low speed for direct-drive applications.
Encoder feedback and electrical integration
The single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides absolute position within one revolution — no homing sequence needed on power-up for rotary applications, but multi-turn position tracking requires a separate multi-turn encoder variant. Electrical connection uses rotatable right-angled connectors, which simplifies cable routing in tight cabinets — the connector body can be oriented in 90° increments after the motor is mounted. Stator inductance is 3 mH and stator resistance is 0.22 Ohm, giving an electrical time constant of about 13.6 ms — relevant for current-loop tuning in the servo drive.
Environmental sealing and mechanical mounting
IP65 standard protection means the motor body is sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets — suitable for washdown areas in food processing or machining coolant environments, but not for high-pressure spray (IP66/IP69K would be needed for that). The 140 mm flange (IEC standard) with a 130 mm centring collar and 3.5 mm collar depth mounts directly to standard gearboxes and machine frames — the 24 mm smooth shaft with 50 mm shaft length accepts standard couplings and pulleys. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 2420 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1670 N at 3000 rpm — bearing life calculations should use the actual radial load at the operating speed.
