Overview
The REL52442 is a Sepam series 20 protection relay from the Easergy range, wired for 3 CT + CSH input in a PCE package, communicating over RS485 and powered by a 12 V DC supply. It ships with Russian-language firmware and is compatible with both Sepam series 20 and Sepam series 40 backplanes. Schneider lists this relay as active production, so it is available through standard distribution channels without last-time-buy constraints.
Selection vs. sibling variants
The REL52442 runs on a 12 V DC supply; if your BOM calls for a 155 V supply, the REL52440 carries the same 3 CT + CSH input and RS485 interface but at 155 V. For an Ethernet-based network, the REL52443 swaps the RS485 port for 2 RJ45 connectors while keeping the same 3 CT + CSH input and 12 V supply. If the application requires a residual current input (I0) instead of CSH, the REL52438 provides 3 CT + I0 with RS485 and 12 V supply.
