Motor frame and mechanical fit
The SH30553P01F1000 uses a 55 mm flange (2.2 in) per the international standard flange mounting pattern, with a 40 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes. The smooth shaft measures 9 mm diameter by 20 mm long, and the overall body length is 203 mm (8.0 in).
Electrical and performance ratings
Rated for three-phase supply, this motor delivers 680 W continuous power. Nominal speed and torque depend on the supply voltage: at 400 V three-phase it reaches 8000 rpm with 0.81 N.m nominal torque; at 480 V three-phase the same speed applies with the same torque figure. The continuous stall torque is 1.05 N.m, and the maximum current Irms is 6.5 A. The torque constant is 0.62 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 41 V/krpm at 20 °C.
Feedback, brake, and environmental protection
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, this motor provides position feedback without needing a homing cycle on power-up. The holding brake delivers 0.8 N.m holding torque and is engaged when power is removed, which is the standard fail-safe arrangement for vertical-axis loads. The motor carries IP65 protection when the shaft bushing seal is fitted, conforming to IEC 60034-5. Cooling is by natural convection, so no external fan or forced airflow is required.
