690 W continuous power, voltage-dependent speed and torque
The SH30701P01A1000 is a 690 W SH3-series servo motor from Schneider Electric, rated for three-phase supply but also operable on single-phase at reduced output. On 400 V three-phase it delivers 820 W nominal output power with 9.7 lbf.in (1.1 N.m) nominal torque; on 115 V single-phase the same torque holds at 1.4 N.m but output power drops to 220 W. Speed is voltage-dependent: 1500 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 6000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 7200 rpm on 480 V three-phase. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, giving headroom for applications that need brief overspeed.
Absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing cycle
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder. On power-up the drive reads the absolute position within one revolution — no homing sequence needed, which cuts cycle time on machines that power-cycle between batches. The SinCos analog track also gives interpolated position for smooth low-speed ripple. The encoder pairs with Schneider's Lexium 28 or 32 drives natively; third-party drives that support Hiperface interface can also decode the signal.
Smooth shaft, IP54/IP65, connector options
Smooth shaft with 11 mm diameter and 23 mm length. No keyway means the coupling must transmit torque through friction or a clamping mechanism — confirm the coupling bore tolerance and torque capacity for the 1.4 N.m nominal and 3.5 N.m peak stall torque. IP54 with the shaft bushing and no shaft seal ring; IP65 with the seal ring fitted. The motor uses natural convection cooling — no fan, so mounting clearance for airflow matters. Electrical connection options include a rotatable right-angled connector and a straight connector, giving cable exit flexibility in tight cabinets.
