690 W continuous power, holding brake, and encoder feedback
The SH30701P01F2100 is a Schneider Electric SH3 series servo motor delivering 690 W continuous power with a holding brake rated at 3 N·m (26.6 lbf·in). The brake holds the load at standstill, making this motor suited for vertical-axis or Z-axis applications where the load must not drift when power is removed. Feedback comes from an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, which reports the exact shaft position on power-up without a homing routine. This encoder type is common in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines where position retention after a power cycle saves cycle time.
Speed and torque across supply voltages
Nominal speed depends on the supply: 1500 rpm at 115 V single phase, 3000 rpm at 230 V single phase, 6000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 7200 rpm at 480 V three phase. The motor is wound for three-phase operation, so the single-phase figures assume a VFD with single-phase input and three-phase output. Nominal torque also varies: 1.4 N·m at 115 V or 230 V single phase, dropping to 1.1 N·m at 400 V or 480 V three phase. Peak stall torque reaches 3.5 N·m across the three-phase range, and continuous stall torque is 1.25 N·m.
IP65 enclosure and international flange mounting
The motor body and shaft bushing carry IP65 protection per IEC 60034-5, meaning it resists dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. This suits washdown environments in food processing, beverage filling, or packaging lines where the motor is exposed to hose-down cleaning. Mounting uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm (2.8 in) flange size and a 60 mm centring collar. The smooth shaft (11 mm diameter, 23 mm length) accepts a keyless coupling or a clamp-on pulley — no keyway, so the shaft is balanced for higher-speed operation.
