Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH30701P02A1000 delivers a nominal speed of 6000 rpm when fed from a 400 V three-phase supply, and 7200 rpm at 480 V three-phase. On single-phase 115 V or 230 V, speed drops to 1500 rpm and 3000 rpm respectively. Nominal torque is 1.4 N·m on single-phase supplies (115 V or 230 V) and 1.1 N·m on three-phase 400 V or 480 V. Peak stall torque reaches 3.5 N·m across the three-phase range.
Encoder and feedback for position loops
Fitted with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — this gives the drive controller the rotor position at power-up without a homing sequence, critical for high-speed pick-and-place or rotary indexing where lost position means a crash. The back EMF constant is 46 V/krpm at 20 °C, and the torque constant is 0.69 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. These numbers let the drive engineer calculate the voltage headroom and current loop gain for the target speed-torque point.
Mounting and environmental sealing
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm flange size and a 60 mm centring collar. The smooth shaft (11 mm diameter, 23 mm length) accepts a keyless coupling or collet — no keyway to align. IP54 as standard (shaft bushing without seal ring); IP65 with the optional shaft seal ring. For washdown or dusty environments, spec the seal ring — the motor body itself is IP65-rated per IEC 60034-5.
