Speed-torque envelope depends on supply
The SH30702P0BA3000: This SH3 frame motor delivers different performance depending on the line voltage feeding the drive. On 230 V single-phase input, nominal speed is 3000 rpm with 2.1 N·m torque and 610 W output. Feed it 400 V three-phase and it spins to 6000 rpm at 1.8 N·m, 1130 W. At 480 V three-phase, maximum mechanical speed hits 7200 rpm with the same 1.8 N·m torque and 1130 W power. Peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N·m across the 115...480 V three-phase range — that's the short-term overload headroom for acceleration or overcoming friction during start-up. Continuous stall torque is 2.04 N·m at 2.9 A, so the thermal limit for sustained holding is about a quarter of the peak capability.

Multiturn tracking means the drive knows the absolute position even after a power cycle and shaft rotation, so homing sequences are not required on restart.
Mounting and mechanical interface
The 70 mm flange (IEC standard) with 60 mm centring collar and 2.5 mm centring depth bolts directly to a matching gearbox or machine frame. Four mounting holes at 5.5 mm diameter on the flange face — M5 or #10 bolts fit. Smooth shaft, 11 mm diameter, 23 mm engagement length — no keyway, so a clamping-type coupling is required to transmit torque without slipping. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 990 N at 1000 rpm, derating with speed. Axial force limit is 160 N. These set the bearing life for belt-drive or overhung-load applications — a direct-coupled load within these limits avoids premature bearing wear.
Environmental sealing and cooling
The shaft bushing without a seal ring drops to IP54, so a shaft seal kit should be added if the motor is mounted with the shaft pointing up into a wet zone.
Electrical parameters for drive tuning
Stator resistance is 4.2 Ω and inductance is 21.3 mH — these feed into the drive's current-loop PI gains. The back-EMF constant is 48 V/krpm at 20 °C, and the torque constant is 0.7 N·m/A at 120 °C hot. Maximum continuous current (Irms) is 11.8 A, which sets the drive sizing floor.
