Motor ratings and supply voltage dependency
The SH30703P0AA4000 delivers 1330 W continuous power when fed from 400 V or 480 V three-phase supply, dropping to 830 W on 230 V single-phase. Nominal torque follows the same split: 2.8 Nm on 230 V single-phase, 2.1 Nm on either 400 V or 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with continuous stall torque at 2.94 Nm and continuous stall current of 4.1 A. The 17.0 A peak (3 s) output current sets the drive sizing floor for acceleration duty.
Encoder and feedback — Hiperface DSL single-turn
Absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL encoder — no battery-backed multi-turn count, so the position reference resets on power cycle. The DSL protocol runs over a single cable pair, combining power and data; the drive must support Hiperface DSL to interpret the feedback. Motor pole count is 3.0 — set this in the drive's motor parameter list for correct commutation and speed loop tuning. Back EMF constant is 49 V/krpm at 20 °C, and torque constant is 0.72 Nm/A at 120 °C hot copper.
Mechanical interface and mounting constraints
International standard flange, 70 mm (2.8 in) square, with a 60 mm centring collar and 2.5 mm collar depth. Four mounting holes at 5.5 mm diameter on the flange corners — standard bolt pattern for this frame size. Smooth shaft, 14 mm diameter, 30 mm shaft length. No keyway — the coupling must transmit torque through a clamping or friction fit. Maximum radial force is 1050 N at 1000 rpm; maximum axial force is 160 N. Overall length is 220 mm (8.7 in). Natural convection cooling — no integrated fan, so the motor relies on the drive's current limit and the mounting surface for thermal management.
Environmental sealing and connection options
IP65 rated per IEC 60034-5 for the motor body, but the shaft bushing without a shaft seal ring drops to IP54. In washdown or coolant-spray zones, fit the optional shaft seal ring to maintain IP65 at the shaft exit. Two connector variants listed: a straight connector and a quicklock rotatable right-angled connector. The rotatable version helps in tight cable egress paths without bending the cable below its minimum bend radius.
Lifecycle and sourcing — current production
The SH30703P sizing reference anchors this to the SH3 family; any substitution would require a full motor-drive re-commissioning.
