Speed-torque curve depends on your supply voltage
The SH30703P11A2100 is a three-phase servo motor from Schneider Electric's SH3 series, but its nominal speed and torque shift with the supply voltage you feed it. At 480 V three-phase it spins 7200 rpm; drop to 115 V single-phase and it runs 1500 rpm. The nominal torque follows the same pattern — 2.95 N.m at 115 V, 2.1 N.m at 480 V. That means the same motor body covers a wide speed range, but the torque you actually get depends on the drive and line voltage you pair it with. Continuous power is 1330 W, and peak stall torque hits 11.3 N.m for short-duration acceleration. The continuous stall torque is 2.94 N.m — that's the holding torque at zero speed. If your application needs a brake, note this variant ships without one; you'll need an external brake or a different order code.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface
The encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface type. That gives you position at power-up without a homing sequence, and the SinCos analog tracks allow high-resolution interpolation in the drive. The drive you pair it with must support Hiperface protocol — not all servo drives do, so check the drive's encoder input compatibility before wiring. Back EMF constant is 49 V/krpm at 20 °C. At 7200 rpm the back EMF reaches about 353 V line-to-line, which limits the maximum speed on a 400 V or 480 V DC bus — the drive needs headroom above the back EMF to inject current. Torque constant is 0.72 N.m/A at 120 °C hot winding, so sizing the drive current for your torque demand is straightforward.
IP65 and mounting — washdown-ready, standard flange
The motor body and shaft bushing are both rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5. That means it's sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets — suitable for washdown environments in food processing or wet machining. The connector options include a straight connector and a rotatable right-angled connector, giving you cable exit flexibility in tight enclosures. Mounting is via an international standard flange with a 70 mm flange size and 60 mm centring collar. Overall length is 220 mm, shaft diameter 14 mm with a parallel key and 30 mm shaft length. The radial force limit is 730 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 400 N at 6000 rpm — bearing life depends on staying within that curve.
