Torque and speed over the supply range
The SH30703P12A2100: This SH3-frame servo delivers nominal torque from 2.95 Nm at 115 V single-phase down to 2.1 Nm at 480 V three-phase, with nominal speed climbing from 1500 rpm to 7200 rpm as the supply voltage increases. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range — enough for aggressive acceleration profiles on a pick-and-place or indexing axis. Continuous power is rated 1330 W, with a continuous stall torque of 2.94 Nm that holds steady regardless of supply voltage — the thermal limit is set by natural convection cooling.
Feedback and integration — absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a homing sequence after power loss — the motor knows its position from the last powered move, which cuts cycle time on multi-axis machines. Mounting follows the international standard 70 mm flange (2.8 in) with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes — fits common servo motor brackets without adapter plates. The rotatable right-angled connector lets the cable exit in any of four orientations, a practical detail when the motor is shoehorned into a crowded cabinet or gantry carriage.
Environmental sealing and mechanical limits
IP65 rating on both the motor body and the shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5 means it withstands direct hose-down — suitable for food processing, washdown stations, or outdoor machine tools where coolant mist is constant. Maximum radial force Fr is 730 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 400 N at 6000 rpm — a belt-drive or overhung pulley application must respect this curve to avoid bearing overload. Maximum axial force Fa is 80 N, typical for a motor of this frame size; axial loads from helical gears or lead screws should be checked against this limit.
