The SH30703P1AA3100: On a 230 V single-phase line the output drops to 830 W and torque goes up to 2.8 Nm — the winding is tapped for both supply configurations, so the BOM voltage determines which torque curve applies. The absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL encoder gives you position feedback over a single cable — no separate feedback line to pull and terminate. That saves a cable tray slot and a connector pair at the drive end, which matters when you are stuffing ten axes into a cabinet.
Peak torque and mechanical limits
Peak stall torque hits 11.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, so the motor can muscle through a short-duration load spike without losing position. Continuous stall torque is 2.94 Nm at 4.1 A continuous stall current — that is the holding torque at standstill with the drive still enabled. Stator resistance is 2.7 Ω, inductance 14.6 mH — these set the electrical time constant and influence the drive's current-loop tuning. The torque constant is 0.72 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature, so expect a slight drop from the cold value during sustained operation.
Mounting, IP rating, and connector
Flange size is 70 mm (2.8 in) with an international standard flange pattern — bolts through 5.5 mm holes on the standard bolt circle. The centring collar is 60 mm diameter, 2.5 mm deep, so the pilot register is shallow; make sure the mating bore is concentric within 0.05 mm to avoid bearing preload. IP65 rating on both the motor body and the shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5 — the seal at the shaft exit is the same class as the housing, so washdown spray at the coupling end won't ingress. The electrical connection is a quick-lock straight connector, not a terminal box, so plan the cable exit direction before bolting the motor down. Overall length is 220 mm (8.7 in), shaft diameter 14 mm with a parallel key and 30 mm shaft length. Maximum radial force is 1050 N at 1000 rpm, maximum axial force 160 N — belt-drive applications need a radial load check against the bearing rating at the actual operating speed.
