Speed-torque envelope across three supply voltages
Nominal speed reaches 3000 rpm on 230 V single-phase input, 6000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 7200 rpm on 480 V three-phase — the motor's speed ceiling is supply-dependent, not a fixed nameplate number. Nominal torque is 2.8 N.m at 230 V single-phase, dropping to 2.1 N.m on both 400 V and 480 V three-phase supplies. Continuous power output is 830 W on single-phase and 1330 W on either three-phase supply. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range, with a 3-second peak current of 17.0 A. Continuous stall torque is 2.94 N.m over the same voltage window.
Encoder feedback and environmental sealing
The absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL encoder provides position feedback over a digital serial link — no separate battery backup needed for single-turn position retention. This protocol is standard across Schneider's Lexium drive family. IP65 rating on the motor body per IEC 60034-5 means the winding and encoder survive washdown spray. The shaft bushing without shaft seal ring is only IP54 — if the application sees pressurized water on the shaft end, an external seal or seal ring variant is required. Natural convection cooling — no external fan or forced air required. The thermal limit is set by the copper hot-spot temperature of 130 °C.
Mounting dimensions and mechanical interface
International standard flange, 70 mm square, with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes — fits the common 70 mm flange pattern found on servo mounts. Centring collar depth is 2.5 mm. Shaft diameter is 14 mm with a parallel key, key width 5 mm, shaft length 30 mm. Overall motor length is 220 mm.
Winding parameters and drive tuning constants
Stator resistance is 2.7 Ω, stator inductance 14.6 mH — these set the electrical time constant and influence current-loop tuning in the drive. Torque constant is 0.72 N.m/A at 120 °C winding temperature; back-EMF constant is 49 V/krpm at 20 °C. These values are temperature-dependent and should be entered into the drive's motor model for accurate torque estimation. Electrical connection uses a quick-lock rotatable right-angled connector — field wiring orientation can be adjusted without disassembling the motor connector body.
