Power, speed, and torque across supply voltages
The SH30703P1AF3100: Nominal torque is 2.8 N.m on 230 V single-phase and 2.1 N.m on 400 V or 480 V three-phase. Continuous stall torque is 2.94 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range, and peak stall torque reaches 11.3 N.m. The torque constant is 0.72 N.m/A at 120 °C, and the back EMF constant is 49 V/krpm at 20 °C — both figures you'll need for the drive tuning parameters during commissioning.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL
The motor ships with an absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL encoder — no homing sequence needed on power-up, which saves a step during commissioning. The feedback protocol is digital, so the drive auto-detects the encoder type on the first parameter download.
Holding brake and mechanical interface
The integrated holding brake delivers 3 N.m holding torque and draws 7 W pull-in power — enough to hold a vertical axis at standstill without a separate mechanical lock. The brake is spring-applied, power-released, so it engages on power loss. The motor uses a 70 mm international standard flange (B5) with a 14 mm shaft diameter and parallel key. The centring collar is 60 mm diameter, 2.5 mm deep — verify the mating pilot bore on your gearbox or load before bolting up.
IP65 and cooling — natural convection
IP65 per IEC 60034-5 on both the motor body and the shaft bushing — the motor handles washdown and dust without a secondary cover. Cooling is natural convection, so no external fan or coolant lines; derate if mounted in a confined enclosure with restricted airflow.
