Motor ratings that shift with the supply voltage
This SH31001P02F2100 servo motor delivers different performance depending on the line voltage feeding the drive. On a three-phase 400 V supply the nominal speed reaches 5000 rpm and the nominal output power hits 1410 W; step up to 480 V three-phase and the nominal speed climbs to 6000 rpm with 1630 W output. The nominal torque also varies by supply: 2.91 N·m at 115 V single-phase, down to 2.27 N·m at 400 V or 480 V three-phase. The continuous stall torque sits at 2.94 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and the peak stall torque is 9.6 N·m — that is the short-duration ceiling for acceleration or overcoming a jam.
Built-in holding brake and absolute feedback
Feedback comes from an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder. That means the drive knows the shaft position on power-up without a homing move — a time-saver on multi-axis machines that cycle power between shifts.
IP65 enclosure and natural convection cooling
The motor body and shaft bushing both carry an IP65 rating per IEC 60034-5. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or blower. The continuous power rating of 1190 W assumes free air movement around the motor frame; if the motor is boxed into a tight cavity, expect derating.
Flange dimensions and shaft interface
The motor flange size is 100 mm with a centring collar diameter of 95 mm and a depth of 3.5 mm. The smooth shaft is 19 mm in diameter and 40 mm long — no keyway, so the coupling or pulley must use a clamping or friction fit. Mounting holes are 9 mm diameter on the flange. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector, which helps route the power and feedback cables in tight cabinets without bending the cable below its minimum radius.
For MRO planners: this is a fast-moving servo motor with brake in the SH3 frame size. Keep one on the shelf if your line runs multiple SH3-based axes; the absolute encoder eliminates re-homing after a swap.
