Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH31001P0AA3000 delivers three distinct operating points depending on the supply: 2500 rpm nominal at 230 V single-phase, 5000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 6000 rpm at 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque follows the same pattern — 2.64 N·m at 230 V, dropping to 2.27 N·m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. The continuous power rating is 690 W on single-phase and 1190 W on three-phase supplies. Peak stall torque is 9.6 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a continuous stall torque of 2.94 N·m and a continuous stall current of 3.5 A. The maximum current Irms is 12 A.
Encoder feedback and mechanical interface
Feedback comes from an absolute single-turn Hiperface DSL encoder — a digital serial interface that reports position on power-up without a homing cycle, provided the travel stays within one revolution. The motor has 4 poles and a back EMF constant of 60 V/krpm at 20 °C. The shaft is smooth, 19 mm diameter by 40 mm long, with no keyway — the coupling must grip the shaft directly. The motor flange is 100 mm square with a 95 mm centring collar and 9.0 mm mounting holes. Overall body length is 168.5 mm. There is no holding brake. For vertical-axis or power-off hold applications, an external brake or counterbalance is required.
Thermal and environmental ratings
The motor body carries IP65 protection per IEC 60034-5, but the shaft bushing without a shaft seal ring is only IP54 — washdown environments need the optional shaft seal to prevent moisture ingress along the shaft. Maximum radial force is 1930 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1340 N at 3000 rpm; maximum axial force is 300 N.
Electrical parameters and connection
Stator resistance is 3.8 Ω and stator inductance is 19 mH. The torque constant is 0.84 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. The electrical connection uses a quicklock straight connector — no separate cable gland required at the motor end.
