Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31001P0AF4100: This servo motor delivers a nominal speed of 2500 rpm on 230 V single-phase supply, 5000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 6000 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The nominal torque at 400 V and 480 V three-phase is 2.27 N.m; on 230 V single-phase it rises to 2.64 N.m. The continuous stall torque across the 115...480 V three-phase range is 2.94 N.m. The peak stall torque reaches 9.6 N.m on 115...480 V three-phase supply — this is the torque available for acceleration during short-duration moves before the drive current limit cuts in. The maximum continuous current Irms is 12.0 A, with a 3-second peak output of the same 12.0 A.
Encoder, brake, and mechanical fit
The holding brake delivers 9 N.m of static holding torque, enough to hold a vertical axis load against gravity when the drive is disabled. The IP65 rating on both the motor body and the shaft bushing means the motor withstands directed water jets and dust ingress — suitable for washdown environments in food processing or packaging lines. Cooling is by natural convection; no external fan or forced air is required.
Electrical parameters and connection
Stator resistance is 3.8 Ohm and stator inductance is 19 mH — these values set the electrical time constant and influence the current-loop bandwidth the drive can achieve. The torque constant is 0.84 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back-EMF constant is 60 V/krpm at 20 °C. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector with a quick-lock mechanism — the connector body can be rotated to align the cable exit before locking, which simplifies routing in tight cabinets. The brake pull-in power is 12 W. Maximum radial force on the shaft is 1930 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 1530 N at 2000 rpm and 1340 N at 3000 rpm. Maximum axial force is 300 N. These limits govern the allowable belt tension or direct-coupling misalignment.
