Speed and torque across the supply range
The SH31001P11A1200: This SH3 servo motor delivers different performance depending on the line voltage you feed it. On a three-phase 400 V supply, nominal speed is 5000 rpm with 2.27 N.m nominal torque; on 480 V three-phase, the same torque holds at 6000 rpm. Single-phase 115 V drops to 1250 rpm and 2.91 N.m, while 230 V single-phase gives 2500 rpm at 2.64 N.m. Continuous power is 1190 W. Peak stall torque reaches 9.6 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, which matters when you need short bursts of acceleration to close a cycle budget. Continuous stall torque sits at 2.94 N.m over the same voltage band.
Feedback and protection for the cell
The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder gives position feedback on power-up without a homing move — useful on a multi-axis line where you want the controller to know the axis orientation immediately after a power cycle. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, plus IP67 on the housing (per IEC 60034-5), means this motor handles washdown without a secondary cover. Natural convection cooling means no fan to clog or fail — but the thermal budget is set by the 266 °F (130 °C) copper hot-spot limit, so check the duty cycle if you're running near peak torque continuously. Electrical connection options include a rotatable right-angled connector and a straight connector, giving flexibility for cable routing in tight cabinets.
