Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31002M02A2000: This motor delivers 5.62 Nm at 500 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 5.5 Nm at 1000 rpm on 230 V single-phase, and 5.28 Nm at 2000 rpm on 400 V three-phase — the torque curve is nearly flat across the voltage range, but the speed ceiling shifts with the supply. At 480 V three-phase it reaches 2400 rpm at the same 5.28 Nm. Peak stall torque is 18.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving a 3.5× overload margin above the nominal 5.28 Nm for acceleration or load transients.
Encoder and feedback — absolute multiturn Hiperface
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a homing sequence on power-up — the rotor position is known from the moment the drive enables. This matters for applications where the machine must resume from the last position after a power cycle, such as pick-and-place or gantry axes.
IP rating and environmental sealing
IP54 at the shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring; IP65 on the motor body and IP65 at the shaft bushing when the seal ring is fitted — both conforming to IEC 60034-5. In a washdown or high-humidity environment, the shaft seal ring is required to keep the bearing cavity dry.
Mechanical interface and mounting
International standard flange, 100 mm square, with a 95 mm centring collar and 3.5 mm centring collar depth. The smooth shaft is 19 mm diameter with a 6 mm keyway and 40 mm shaft length — standard for direct coupling to a ball screw or timing-belt pulley without a custom adapter.
