Torque and speed across supply voltages
The SH31002P02A1200 delivers 5.5 Nm at 1000 rpm on 115 V single-phase, but that torque drops to 4.6 Nm at 4000 rpm on 400 V three-phase — the winding is optimized for the higher-voltage regime where most servo applications run. Peak stall torque hits 18.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving you a 4:1 torque margin over the continuous 4.6 Nm rating for acceleration events.
Encoder and feedback for position loops
Absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder means the drive knows the shaft position at power-up — no homing cycle needed on a multi-revolution axis. The 4-pole motor pairs with drives expecting a 1.21 Nm/A torque constant at 120 °C copper temperature. Stator resistance is 2.4 Ohm and inductance 6.75 mH, which sets the current-loop tuning range for the matching drive.
Sealing and mounting for washdown zones
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — the connector interface is the wet-end barrier, not the flange face. Natural convection cooling means no fan to clog in dusty environments. Mounts on a 100 mm international standard flange with a 95 mm centring collar and 9 mm bolt holes. The smooth shaft (19 mm diameter, 40 mm length) accepts a keyless coupling or clamping hub.
