What torque and speed does this servo deliver at your line voltage?
The SH31002P02A2200 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 family. At 400 V three-phase it delivers 4.6 N·m nominal torque and 4000 rpm; at 480 V three-phase that shifts to 4.4 N·m at 4800 rpm. Peak stall torque is 18.3 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range — that's your acceleration ceiling before the drive trips on current limit. Continuous stall torque is 5.8 N·m at 115–480 V three-phase, with a continuous stall current of 4.8 A. The continuous power rating is 1900 W.
Encoder, cooling, and environmental ratings
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a homing sequence after power loss — position is retained over multiple shaft revolutions. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan, so the thermal performance depends on free air movement around the 100 mm flange. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5 — the motor handles washdown and dust ingress without additional shrouding.
Mounting and mechanical interface
International standard flange, 100 mm flange size, 95 mm centring collar diameter, 3.5 mm centring collar depth. Mounting holes are 9 mm diameter. Smooth shaft, 19 mm diameter, 40 mm shaft length. No keyway — the coupling must transmit torque through a clamping or friction fit. Maximum radial force Fr is 990 N at 1000 rpm, dropping to 620 N at 4000 rpm. Maximum axial force Fa is 160 N.
Electrical parameters for drive selection
Stator resistance is 2.4 Ω, stator inductance 6.75 mH, torque constant 1.21 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, back EMF constant 77 V/krpm at 20 °C. Maximum RMS current is 17.1 A (3-second peak). The 4-pole motor runs at nominal speeds from 1000 rpm (115 V single-phase) up to 4800 rpm (480 V three-phase). Electrical connection options: straight connector or rotatable right-angled connector — choose based on cable exit direction in the cabinet.
