Motor ratings and supply voltage dependency
The SH31002P0BA4000: This SH3-series servo motor delivers 1930 W continuous power at 400 V three-phase, with a nominal speed of 4000 rpm. On a 480 V three-phase supply it reaches 4800 rpm; on 230 V single-phase it drops to 2000 rpm and 1090 W. Nominal torque is 5.2 Nm at 230 V single-phase, 4.6 Nm at 400 V three-phase, and 4.4 Nm at 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 18.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range.
Encoder feedback and mechanical fit
The absolute multiturn Hiperface DSL encoder provides position feedback over a single cable, reducing wiring complexity in multi-axis systems. The motor has a smooth shaft (19 mm diameter, 40 mm shaft length) and mounts on a 100 mm international standard flange with a 95 mm centring collar. IP65 rating on the motor body (per IEC 60034-5) means it withstands washdown and dust ingress; the shaft bushing without a shaft seal ring is IP54. Natural convection cooling keeps the design simple with no external fan.

Stator resistance is 2.4 Ohm and inductance is 13.5 mH. Continuous stall current is 4.8 A, with a peak current of 17.1 A for 3 seconds. The torque constant is 1.21 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature.
