Motor ratings that shift with your supply voltage
The SH31002P0BF3000 is a three-phase servo motor from Schneider's SH3 series, and its output speed and torque depend directly on what voltage you feed it. At 400 V three-phase it spins 4000 rpm delivering 4.6 N.m nominal torque; feed it 480 V three-phase and it reaches 4800 rpm with 4.4 N.m. On 230 V single-phase you get 2000 rpm and 5.2 N.m. That voltage-dependent curve means the motor's continuous power settles at 1930 W on either 400 V or 480 V three-phase supply, but drops to 1090 W on single-phase 230 V.
Holding brake and encoder — what they mean for a build
This motor ships with a holding brake rated at 9 N.m holding torque — that's 79.7 lbf.in, enough to keep a vertical-axis load from dropping when the drive is off. The brake pulls 12 W to release, so factor that into your 24 VDC control supply budget. The encoder is an absolute multiturn Hiperface DSL, which means you get position feedback over a single cable pair without a separate battery backup for multiturn counts. It's a straight quicklock connector — no right-angle adapter needed.
IP65 and shaft details for washdown or dusty environments
The motor body carries IP65 per IEC 60034-5, so it handles hose-down and dust ingress. The shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring drops to IP54 — if you need full IP65 at the shaft exit, fit the seal ring. The shaft is 19 mm diameter, smooth (no keyway), 40 mm long. Maximum radial force at 3000 rpm is 1840 N, and axial force limit is 300 N. Cooling is natural convection — no fan, so keep air circulation around the motor in the cabinet layout.
