The SH31002P12A2200: This SH3 frame servo delivers a nominal torque of 4.6 Nm at 400 V three-phase, with a nominal speed of 4000 rpm. On a 480 V three-phase supply the same motor produces 4.4 Nm at 4800 rpm, while single-phase 115 V and 230 V inputs yield lower torque and speed — 5.5 Nm at 1000 rpm and 5.2 Nm at 2000 rpm respectively. The continuous power rating is 1900 W, with nominal output power reaching 1930 W at 400 V and 2210 W at 480 V. Peak stall torque is 18.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and continuous stall torque holds at 5.8 Nm. The 3-second peak current limit is 17.1 A — the same as the maximum continuous Irms, so the thermal limit on overload duration is set by the motor's natural convection cooling and the 130 °C copper hot-spot temperature.
Encoder feedback and electrical data for drive tuning
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a home sequence on power-up — a requirement for applications that must resume from the last known position after a power cycle. The torque constant is 1.21 Nm/A at 120 °C, and the back EMF constant is 77 V/krpm at 20 °C, both values the drive needs for current-loop and velocity-loop tuning.
