Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH31003M01F1100: Nominal speed depends on the supply: 500 rpm at 115 V single-phase, 1000 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 2000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 2400 rpm at 480 V three-phase. Nominal output power scales similarly — 410 W at 115 V single-phase up to 1700 W at 480 V three-phase. Continuous power is rated 1500 W. The holding brake delivers 9 N.m of holding torque (79.7 lbf.in). Nominal torque at 115 V single-phase is 7.8 N.m (69.04 lbf.in); at 480 V three-phase it derates to 6.76 N.m (59.83 lbf.in). Peak stall torque is 28.3 N.m (250.5 lbf.in) across the 115–480 V three-phase range.
Encoder feedback and mechanical integration
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing routine required after a power cycle. The motor flange is 100 mm (3.9 in) with a 95 mm centring collar and 9.0 mm mounting holes. Shaft is 19 mm diameter, smooth, with a 6 mm keyway and 40 mm shaft length. IP65 protection on both the motor body and the shaft bushing (IEC 60034-5). Cooling is by natural convection — no fan, so heat rejection relies on the mounting flange contact and ambient airflow.
Electrical and thermal limits for application sizing
Maximum continuous current is 14.7 A Irms, which also serves as the 3-second peak current rating. Stator resistance is 5.3 Ohm; stator inductance is 17.4 mH. The torque constant is 2.35 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back-EMF constant is 148 V/krpm at 20 °C.
