1.5 kW at the shaft — voltage-dependent speed and torque
The SH31003M01F2200 is a 1.5 kW continuous-power servo motor from the SH3 family, with a 100 mm flange and a holding brake rated 9 N·m. Its nominal speed and torque shift with the supply voltage: 500 rpm at 115 V single-phase, 1000 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 2000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 2400 rpm at 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque follows a similar curve — 7.8 N·m at 115 V, dropping to 6.76 N·m at 480 V. This voltage-dependent performance means the same motor frame covers both low-voltage commissioning and full-line-speed production — useful when a machine ships to regions with different mains standards and you want one BOM position for the motor.
Absolute feedback and sealed construction
Encoder is absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface — no homing sequence on power-up, position is known immediately. The motor carries IP65 on the body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5, so it handles washdown environments without a secondary cover. Cooling is natural convection — no fan, no forced-air requirement. The smooth shaft (no keyway) and the 19 mm diameter with 40 mm length give a standard coupling interface for most servo applications. Peak stall torque is 28.3 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a 14.7 A peak current limit. The holding brake locks the shaft at 9 N·m when power is removed — enough to hold a vertical axis load without a counterbalance.
