Frame size and mounting — 100 mm flange, international standard
The SH31003M11A1100 uses a 100 mm (3.9 in) flange per the international standard, with a 95 mm centring collar and 9 mm mounting holes on the bolt circle. The shaft is 19 mm diameter by 40 mm long, with a parallel key 6 mm wide. Total body length is 240.5 mm (9.5 in). Mounting support is the international standard flange — no special adapter plate needed for common European or IEC frame motor mounts.
Torque and speed — voltage-dependent output, no holding brake
Nominal torque drops as supply voltage rises: 7.8 Nm at 115 V single-phase, 7.5 Nm at 230 V single-phase, 7 Nm at 400 V three-phase, and 6.76 Nm at 480 V three-phase. Nominal speed increases with voltage: 500 rpm at 115 V, 1000 rpm at 230 V, 2000 rpm at 400 V, and 2400 rpm at 480 V. Continuous stall torque is 8 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a continuous stall current of 3.4 A. Peak stall torque reaches 28.3 Nm at 14.7 A for 3 seconds — this is the acceleration ceiling for short-duration moves. This variant ships without a holding brake. If the application requires a brake for vertical-axis holding or emergency stop, the mating drive must handle the external brake control or a braked variant should be selected.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface
The encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface type — no homing sequence needed on power-up for single-turn applications. The SinCos analog tracks give fine position interpolation for the drive's commutation and velocity loop. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector or a straight connector — both are listed, so the cable exit direction can be chosen during installation to fit tight cable-tray routing.
Thermal and environmental — natural convection, IP65
Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or forced air required. The motor body and shaft bushing are both rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5, meaning dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction.
