1500 W, 9 N·m holding brake — SH3 frame
The SH31003M11F2000 is a 1500 W continuous-power servo motor with an integrated holding brake, rated 9 N·m holding torque — enough to lock a vertical axis on loss of power without a separate brake resistor or external holding circuit. Frame size is the SH3 100 mm flange with a 19 mm shaft and parallel key; the motor body length is 271.5 mm, which fits standard European servo mounts.
Speed vs supply voltage — not a fixed rating
Nominal speed depends on the drive supply: 500 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1000 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 2000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 2400 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The torque curve shifts with voltage, so the drive selection must match the available line. Nominal torque also varies by supply: 7.8 N·m at 115 V single-phase, 7.5 N·m at 230 V single-phase, 7.0 N·m at 400 V three-phase, and 6.76 N·m at 480 V three-phase. The peak stall torque is 28.3 N·m across the three-phase range.
Absolute Hiperface encoder — single-turn, no homing routine
Encoder is absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface — provides position at power-up without a reference run, which shaves seconds off each cycle in multi-axis pick-and-place or rotary indexing applications. Stator inductance is 17.4 mH and resistance 5.3 Ω; the torque constant is 2.35 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, so the drive current loop can be tuned for low ripple at the 4-pole motor's electrical frequency.
IP65 with shaft bushing — washdown-capable
The motor achieves IP65 per IEC 60034-5 when the shaft bushing and seal ring are fitted; without the seal ring it's IP54 at the shaft exit. The connector is a straight or rotatable right-angle type, both rated for the same enclosure class. Maximum radial force at 2000 rpm is 830 N; at 4000 rpm it drops to 660 N. Axial force limit is 160 N — relevant for belt-driven loads where the radial load vector is higher than the belt tension.
