Torque and speed across supply voltages
The SH31003M12F1100 delivers 7.8 Nm nominal torque at 500 rpm when fed 115 V single phase, and 7.0 Nm at 2000 rpm on 400 V three-phase supply — the torque curve shifts with the available line voltage, so the drive selection must match the supply to the target speed-torque point. Peak stall torque reaches 28.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, which governs acceleration capability during rapid moves or when overcoming static friction at startup.
Holding brake and encoder for position hold
The integrated holding brake provides 9 Nm of holding torque, enough to secure a vertical axis load without power to the motor windings — the brake engages when drive enable drops, preventing Z-axis drift during E-stop or power loss. An absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder reports position on power-up without a homing sequence, reducing cycle time on machines that power-cycle between batches.
IP65 and flange mounting for production environments
Rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5 on both the motor body and shaft bushing, so the motor withstands washdown and airborne particulates in food, beverage, or machining lines without an additional cover. The 100 mm international standard flange (3.9 in) with a 95 mm centring collar and 9 mm mounting holes bolts directly to common gearbox and machine interfaces — no adapter plate needed for most IEC-frame mounts.
