Speed and torque across the voltage range
The SH31003M12F1200: This SH3-frame motor delivers rated torque that shifts with the supply: 7.8 N·m at 500 rpm on 115 V single phase, 7.5 N·m at 1000 rpm on 230 V single phase, 7.0 N·m at 2000 rpm on 400 V three phase, and 6.76 N·m at 2400 rpm on 480 V three phase. The nominal output power climbs from 410 W on 115 V to 1700 W on 480 V — the motor is designed to run on whatever line voltage the machine site provides, but the torque envelope narrows as speed increases. Peak stall torque hits 28.3 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and continuous stall torque is 8 N·m — the 3.5× ratio between peak and continuous tells you this motor can handle short-duration overloads for acceleration or reversing moves without oversizing the frame.
Feedback and holding brake — what you get
The encoder is an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface type — no need for a homing sequence on power-up, and the multiturn count tracks position across power cycles. This matters for vertical-axis applications where the load position must be known immediately after a power loss.
Mounting and environmental sealing
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 100 mm square, 95 mm centring collar, and 3.5 mm centring collar depth — mates directly to standard gearbox input flanges without an adapter plate. Four M9 mounting holes on the flange face; the shaft is 19 mm diameter with a parallel key, 40 mm shaft length. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — the motor survives washdown and condensation. The straight connector exits the motor body; no right-angle option on this variant, so plan cable clearance accordingly.
