Motor ratings that shift with supply voltage
The SH31003P0BA4000 is a three-phase servo motor whose nominal speed and torque depend on the supply voltage. At 400 V three-phase it delivers 4000 rpm and 5.7 Nm nominal torque; at 480 V three-phase it reaches 4800 rpm with 5.1 Nm; on 230 V single-phase it runs 2000 rpm and 7 Nm. Continuous power is 2400 W, with a continuous stall torque of 8 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range. Peak stall torque hits 28.3 Nm, useful for acceleration transients.
Encoder, feedback, and shaft details
Fitted with an absolute multiturn Hiperface DSL encoder — single-cable feedback that carries both power and position data, reducing cabling complexity. The encoder type is a key compatibility point with the drive: confirm the drive supports Hiperface DSL protocol. Smooth shaft, 19 mm diameter, 40 mm shaft length. No holding brake — this variant is for applications where the load holds position without a brake, or where an external brake is used. Electrical connection via a straight connector and a quicklock rotatable right-angled connector — the right-angle option helps in tight cable exit spaces.
Mounting and environmental sealing
Mounts on an international standard flange with a 100 mm flange size and 95 mm centring collar. Four 9 mm mounting holes on the flange face. IP65 protection on the motor body per IEC 60034-5, but the shaft bushing is only IP54 without the shaft seal ring — if washdown is required, fit the optional shaft seal. Overall length is 240.5 mm. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 4500 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 3120 N at 3000 rpm. Maximum axial force is 740 N.
The sizing reference SH31003P identifies the frame and winding; confirm the mating drive and cable set before committing.
