Motor frame and mechanical fit
The SH31003P0BF3100 carries a 100 mm international standard flange and an overall length of 271.5 mm. The smooth shaft measures 19 mm diameter by 40 mm long, with a centring collar 95 mm diameter and 3.5 mm deep. Mounting holes are 9.0 mm diameter on the flange face. Rated IP65 for both the motor body and the shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5 — the seal at the shaft exit is the wet-end barrier, not just the housing. Natural convection cooling means no fan; the thermal budget depends on the mounting surface and ambient airflow.
Speed-torque envelope and supply voltage
Nominal speed depends on the supply: 2000 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 4000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, 4800 rpm at 480 V three-phase. The nominal torque follows the same pattern — 7 N.m at 230 V, 5.7 N.m at 400 V, 5.1 N.m at 480 V. Peak stall torque is 28.3 N.m across the 115-480 V three-phase range, and continuous stall torque is 8 N.m.
Encoder, brake, and electrical interface
The absolute multiturn Hiperface DSL encoder carries position and commutation data on a single cable pair — no separate battery backup for multiturn count. The holding brake delivers 9 N.m static torque and pulls in at 18 W. The electrical connection uses a quicklock straight connector, which mates without tools and provides IP65 at the joint when paired with the matching cable. Stator resistance is 1.43 Ohm and inductance is 9.4 mH. The torque constant is 1.22 N.m/A at 120°C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 77 V/krpm at 20°C. Maximum continuous current Irms is 28.3 A; continuous stall current is 6.6 A. These values feed the drive's autotune routine — the stator resistance and inductance set the current regulator gains.
