The SH31003P12A1200 is a 100 mm flange servo motor (IEC standard) with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — the feedback type that retains position through a power cycle, eliminating the need for a homing routine on restart. It ships without a holding brake, so any vertical-axis load requires an external brake or a counterbalance. The motor itself is natural-convection cooled — no fan, no forced-air requirement, which simplifies ducting in clean-room or dust-sensitive zones.

Torque and speed across supply voltages

Nominal torque varies by supply: 7.5 N.m at 115 V single-phase, 7.0 N.m at 230 V single-phase, 5.7 N.m at 400 V three-phase, and 5.1 N.m at 480 V three-phase. The continuous stall torque is a flat 8 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, so the motor holds its low-speed torque regardless of line voltage.
