Speed and torque across the voltage range
The SH31003P12A2200 delivers nominal speed that depends on the supply: 1000 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 2000 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 4000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 4800 rpm on 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque also shifts with voltage — 5.1 Nm at 480 V three-phase, 7.5 Nm at 115 V single-phase, 7 Nm at 230 V single-phase, and 5.7 Nm at 400 V three-phase. The continuous stall torque is 8 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and peak stall torque reaches 28.3 Nm across the same voltage band.
Encoder, cooling, and mechanical interface
The motor uses an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder, which gives position feedback without a home cycle after power loss — useful for applications that must resume from a known position. Cooling is by natural convection, so no external fan or coolant circuit is needed. The motor flange size is 100 mm (3.9 in) with an international standard flange, and the shaft has a parallel key with a 19 mm diameter and 40 mm length.
Environmental and mechanical limits
IP65 rating on the motor and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — the motor withstands washdown environments, though the connector is a rotatable right-angled type that must be properly seated to maintain the seal. Maximum radial force is 1050 N at 1000 rpm, dropping to 660 N at 4000 rpm; maximum axial force is 160 N. These limits govern bearing life in direct-drive or belt-driven setups.
Electrical parameters for drive tuning
Stator resistance is 1.43 Ohm and stator inductance is 4.7 mH — these set the electrical time constant and influence current-loop tuning in the servo drive. The torque constant is 1.22 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back-EMF constant is 77 V/krpm at 20 °C. Maximum continuous current is 28.3 A, matching the peak 3-second output current of 28.3 A.
