Motor ratings that decide the drive match
The SH31003P1AF4100 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, rated for 2400 W continuous power. The nominal speed depends on the supply: 2000 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 4000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 4800 rpm at 480 V three-phase — so the voltage your line delivers directly sets the base speed you can expect. Nominal torque also shifts with the supply: 62.0 lbf.in (7 N.m) on 230 V single-phase, 50.4 lbf.in (5.7 N.m) on 400 V three-phase, and 45.1 lbf.in (5.1 N.m) on 480 V three-phase. Brake and encoder — what the holding torque and feedback mean on the line
The holding brake delivers 79.7 lbf.in (9 N.m) of holding torque — enough to hold a vertical-axis load at standstill without the drive holding current. Cooling is by natural convection; no forced-air or liquid cooling is needed, but the motor must be mounted with clearance for free airflow. The flange size is 3.9 in (100 mm), an international standard flange, with a centring collar depth of 0.1 in (3.5 mm). The shaft is 0.7 in (19 mm) diameter, 1.6 in (40 mm) long, with a parallel key and a key width of 0.2 in (6 mm). The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector with quicklock — the connector rotates to route the cable out of the way in tight cabinets.
