Torque and speed depend on your supply voltage — match the drive accordingly
The SH31004P01F1000: Nominal speed shifts with line voltage: 750 rpm on 115 V single phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three phase. The nominal torque follows the same pattern — 9.9 N.m at 115 V, 9.5 N.m at 230 V, 7.9 N.m at 400 V, and 6.9 N.m at 480 V. If your line is 400 V three phase, you get 3000 rpm at 7.9 N.m; if you need the full 9.9 N.m, you must run at 115 V and accept the lower speed. Peak stall torque reaches 40.5 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range — that's the short-duration overload headroom for acceleration or clearing a jam. Continuous stall torque is 10 N.m, so the brake's 12 N.m holding torque covers the continuous rating with margin for vertical-axis hold.
Absolute encoder and brake — no homing cycle, holds position at power-off
The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder reports position on power-up without a homing move — useful for applications where the machine must resume from the last commanded position after a power cycle. The holding brake (12 N.m) locks the rotor when power is removed, so vertical axes or conveyor stops don't drift.
IP54/IP65 and connector options — fits washdown or dusty cabinets
IP54 with the standard shaft bushing (no shaft seal ring) per IEC 60034-5; IP65 with the optional shaft seal ring. The motor body itself is IP65, so in a washdown zone the shaft bushing is the only ingress point — spec the seal ring if the motor sees direct spray. The electrical connector is available as a rotatable right-angled type or a straight connector, giving flexibility for cable exit in tight panel layouts.
