Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31004P02F2200: This motor delivers 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase — the speed range shifts with the supply you feed it. On single-phase 230 V it drops to 1500 rpm; on 115 V single-phase it runs 750 rpm. Torque follows the same curve: 7.9 N.m at 400 V three-phase, 6.9 N.m at 480 V, 9.5 N.m on 230 V single-phase, and 9.9 N.m on 115 V single-phase. The continuous power rating is 2500 W, but the nominal output power at 400 V three-phase is 2480 W.
Brake and encoder — what you get
Encoder is absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface — no homing sequence needed on power-up, the position is retained. The back EMF constant is 103 V/krpm at 20 °C, torque constant 1.62 N.m/A at 120 °C hot copper.
Mounting and environmental fit
Flange is 100 mm (3.9 in) international standard, centring collar 95 mm diameter, 3.5 mm deep. Four mounting holes at 9 mm diameter. Smooth shaft, 24 mm diameter, 50 mm shaft length. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — conforms to IEC 60034-5. That means it handles washdown in food or beverage lines. Cooling is natural convection, so no fan to clog or fail. Electrical connection is a rotatable right-angled connector — you can orient the cable exit to fit tight panel layouts. The motor is three-phase, 4 poles, with stator inductance 6.5 mH and resistance 1.81 Ohm.
Lifecycle and sourcing
This is the SH3 series, sizing reference SH31004P. The peak stall torque is 40.5 N.m (358.5 lbf.in) across the 115-480 V three-phase range, with a 3-second peak current of 32.3 A. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 1070 N at 1000 rpm, dropping to 740 N at 3000 rpm. Maximum axial force is 160 N. The continuous stall torque is 10 N.m (88.5 lbf.in) across the same voltage range.
