Supply-dependent speed and torque — the real selection numbers
The SH31004P1BF4100: Nominal torque follows the same pattern: 9.5 N.m at 230 V single-phase, 7.9 N.m at 400 V three-phase, and 6.9 N.m at 480 V three-phase. The continuous power rating is 2500 W, but nominal output power varies — 1490 W on 230 V single-phase, 2480 W on either 400 V or 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 40.5 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range, while continuous stall torque is 10 N.m — the 4:1 ratio tells you this motor can accelerate a high-inertia load quickly but thermal limits set the sustained output.
Encoder and feedback — single-cable absolute position
The absolute multiturn Hiperface DSL encoder communicates position and temperature over a single cable pair — no separate feedback cable, no battery needed to retain position through power cycles. The rotatable right-angle connector with quicklock termination lets you orient the cable exit in tight cabinets without a right-angle adapter.
Holding brake and mechanical interface
The integrated holding brake delivers 12 N.m static torque — sized for vertical-axis loads where the motor must hold position with power off.
