Motor sizing and voltage-dependent performance
The SH31401M11F1100: Performance is voltage-dependent: nominal torque at 400 V three-phase is 10.6 N·m at 1500 rpm, while at 480 V three-phase it delivers 10.4 N·m at 1800 rpm. The maximum mechanical speed is 4000 rpm, and peak stall torque reaches 27 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range.
Encoder, brake, and environmental sealing
Feedback comes from an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — a standard interface for Schneider drives that provides position at power-up without a homing cycle. The holding brake delivers 23 N·m of holding torque, sized to keep the load stationary when the drive is disabled. The motor carries IP65 protection on both the body and shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5, making it suitable for washdown environments and dusty production areas. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or forced air required.
Electrical parameters and sourcing posture
Stator resistance is 5.3 Ω with an inductance of 88.55 mH. The continuous stall current is 4 A, and the maximum RMS current is 10.8 A. The torque constant is 2.78 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back-EMF constant is 193 V/krpm at 20 °C.
