The SH31401M12F2000 is a 1700 W continuous-power servo motor from the SH3 series, built on a 140 mm flange (IEC standard) with a parallel-key shaft, 24 mm diameter, 50 mm length. The holding brake delivers 23 Nm static torque — enough to hold a vertical-axis load at power-off without a separate mechanical lock. The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a home-search cycle on power-up — the drive reads the exact rotor position and load position from the encoder's multiturn count. This saves one commissioning step per axis on multi-axis machines.
