Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31401P01F2100: This SH3 motor delivers different speed and torque depending on the supply. At 400 V three-phase it spins 3000 rpm with 9.2 N.m nominal torque; at 480 V three-phase it reaches 3600 rpm with 8.4 N.m. Single-phase 230 V gives 1500 rpm and 10.6 N.m; 115 V single-phase gives 750 rpm and 10.95 N.m. The peak stall torque is 27 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range. Continuous power tops out at 2.9 kW on 400 V three-phase, 3.17 kW on 480 V. The motor's maximum RMS current is 20.8 A — match that to the drive's continuous current rating, not just the peak.
Feedback and brake — what locks the load
Encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface — no homing sequence needed on power-up, and the SinCos analog track gives fine position interpolation. The holding brake delivers 23 N.m static torque, enough to hold a vertical load or keep the axis parked when the drive is off.
Mounting and environmental sealing
Flange size is 140 mm (5.5 in) with a centring collar diameter of 130 mm and 0.4 in mounting holes — standard international flange pattern, mates with common gearbox input flanges. The shaft is smooth, 24 mm diameter, 50 mm length. IP65 rating on both the motor body and the shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5 — the motor withstands washdown and wet environments without an extra cover. Cooling is natural convection, so no fan noise or filter maintenance. Electrical connection is a rotatable right-angled connector — the cable exit can be oriented in the field to fit tight cabinet corners or cable tracks.
