Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH31402P02A2100: This SH3 motor delivers 3000 rpm nominal speed at 400 V three-phase with 12.3 N.m nominal torque, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase with 9.7 N.m. At 115 V single-phase it runs 750 rpm with 18.6 N.m; at 230 V single-phase it runs 1500 rpm with 17.1 N.m. The continuous stall torque is 19.5 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range, drawing 13.2 A continuous stall current.
Absolute multiturn encoder — Hiperface interface
The encoder is an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface type — no homing cycle needed at power-up, position is retained through power cycles. The SinCos analog track gives fine interpolated position feedback for motion control loops; the Hiperface serial protocol carries the multiturn count and diagnostic data.
IP65 enclosure and natural convection cooling
Rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5 on both the motor body and the shaft bushing — the motor withstands washdown and airborne particulates without an external shroud. Cooling is by natural convection only, so no fan noise or filter maintenance, but the thermal budget depends on free airflow around the 140 mm flange housing.
Mounting and shaft details
Mounts on an international standard flange with 140 mm centring collar diameter. The shaft is smooth (no keyway), 24 mm diameter by 50 mm length, with a maximum radial force of 2240 N at 1000 rpm and a maximum axial force of 300 N. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector — orientation can be adjusted after mounting.
