The SH31402P02F2000: This is a three-phase servo motor that delivers 3000 rpm nominal speed at 400 V three-phase supply, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase. On single-phase 230 V it runs 1500 rpm; on 115 V single-phase, 750 rpm. Nominal torque at 400 V three-phase is 12.3 N.m, dropping to 9.7 N.m at 480 V. Encoder, brake, and connector — the integration detail
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a home cycle on power-up — the rotor position is known immediately. This is the encoder type for applications where a homing sequence costs cycle time or is mechanically impractical. Electrical connection is via a rotatable right-angled connector — the connector body can be oriented in 90° increments to route the cable away from the axis of motion or toward the cable tray. This avoids a hard bend radius at the motor junction box.
Cooling, sealing, and mounting constraints
Cooling is natural convection — no external fan or blower. The motor relies on the mounting flange and housing to dissipate heat; the 3.9 kW continuous rating assumes free airflow around the frame. Enclosed or confined mounting derates the usable power. IP rating is IP54 at the shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring, and IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing when the seal ring is fitted. For washdown or wet environments, specify the shaft seal ring to protect the bearing cavity. Mounting is to the international standard flange, 140 mm (5.5 in) flange size, with a centring collar diameter of 130 mm and 11 mm mounting holes.
