Three-phase servo with speed flexibility
The SH31402P12F2200 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, with a nominal speed that depends on the supply: 750 rpm at 115 V single phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three phase. Nominal torque also varies by supply: 18.6 N.m at 115 V single phase, 17.1 N.m at 230 V single phase, 12.3 N.m at 400 V three phase, and 9.7 N.m at 480 V three phase. Continuous power is 3900 W, with nominal output power ranging from 1460 W (115 V single phase) to 3860 W (400 V three phase).
Brake and encoder for holding and position feedback
The encoder is an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface type, providing position feedback without a home cycle after power loss.
IP65/IP67 protection and mechanical interface
IP65 rating on the motor and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing, per IEC 60034-5 — suitable for washdown environments. Motor flange size is 140 mm (5.5 in), shaft diameter 24 mm (0.9 in) with a parallel key, shaft length 50 mm (2.0 in), key width 8 mm (0.3 in). Mounting is via international standard flange with centring collar depth 3.5 mm and mounting holes diameter 11 mm. Electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector, easing cable routing in tight panels.

Continuous stall torque is 19.5 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range; peak stall torque is 60.1 N.m. Cooling is natural convection — no external fan, so the motor relies on its own surface for heat dissipation.
