The SH31403P12F1200: This motor delivers 24.7 N.m nominal torque at 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase input, 21.2 N.m at 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 12.9 N.m at 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 9.1 N.m at 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The nominal speed scales with the supply voltage — the torque available drops as speed increases, which is typical for a constant-power region above base speed. Peak stall torque reaches 90.2 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving a 3.3× overload margin over the 400 V nominal torque for acceleration and emergency stops.
Holding brake and mechanical interface
Mounting uses an international standard 140 mm flange with a 24 mm shaft diameter and parallel key. The centring collar depth is 3.5 mm, and the four mounting holes are 11 mm diameter on the flange face.
Encoder feedback and environmental sealing
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a home cycle on power-up — the drive reads the absolute position from the encoder's multiturn count. This eliminates the need for a reference run after a power loss or emergency stop. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — the motor withstands washdown and hose-directed water per IEC 60034-5. The straight connector exits the motor body; cable routing must allow the connector to remain sealed at the mating point.

The torque constant is 1.58 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 105 V/krpm at 20 °C. Maximum continuous current is 61.0 A RMS, with the same value for the 3-second peak current. The drive must be sized to supply this peak current for acceleration and deceleration without tripping on overcurrent.
