Clock and timing
The built-in real-time clock holds its time for 10 years at 25 °C on the internal backup — so after a power outage you don't come back to a scrambled schedule. Drift runs about 12 minutes per year over the full 0...55 °C operating range, or 6 seconds per month at 25 °C. That's tight enough for daily on/off schedules and basic time-of-day logic. The relay also checks program memory on each power-up, so corruption from a brownout doesn't slip through.
Ruggedness for the plant floor
This smart relay is built to IEC 61131-2 and passes IEC 61000-4-2/4/5/6 Level 3 EMC tests, so it'll sit right next to a VFD or contactor without locking up.
