Analogue I/O for Zelio Logic
The SR3XT43BD is a Schneider Electric Zelio Logic analogue I/O extension module. It adds two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs to a Zelio Logic smart relay base unit. The inputs accept 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, or Pt100 three-wire probes over a –25…125 °C range; the outputs drive 0–10 V at 10 mA max load. Both input and output channels resolve to 10 bits across their respective ranges, with ±1 % of full-scale accuracy at 25 °C (drifts to ±1 % at 55 °C on the input, same on the output). Conversion time tracks the smart relay cycle, not a standalone ADC period.
Input impedance sits at 18 kΩ on the voltage channel and 247 Ω on the current channel — low enough for passive 0–20 mA transmitters with a compliant voltage of < 5 V. The Pt100 input uses three-wire compensation; keep the cable run under 10 m. The 10-bit resolution on a 0–10 V input gives roughly 9.8 mV per step, adequate for most process signals. Output short-circuit protection is included, so a miswired 4–20 mA loop won't blow the analog output stage immediately. Screw terminals accept 0.25–2.5 mm² solid or 1 x 0.25–1 x 2.5 mm² flexible with ferrule. Tighten to 0.5 N·m. The front panel carries IP40 protection; the terminal block area is IP20. The module is rated for pollution degree 2 per IEC 61131-2, covering typical control cabinet environments.
Compliance and environment
The SR3XT43BD carries an active lifecycle status. It is compliant with IEC 61000-4-2/3/4/5/6/11/12 (EMC immunity levels 3), IEC 60068-2-6 (vibration) and IEC 60068-2-27 (shock), plus the EMC directives for emission and immunity per IEC 61000-6-2, -3, -4 and IEC 61131-2 zone B. Radiated/conducted emissions meet Class B of IEC 55022-11 Group 1. Operating temperature range is –20…55 °C for the electronics (–20…40 °C for full spec per IEC 60068-2-1/2). Storage –40…70 °C, relative humidity up to 95 % non-condensing.
