Field-ready programmable controller for HVAC
The TM172PDG18R is a Modicon M172 programmable controller built for HVAC jobs — it’s the controller you’d spec for a rooftop unit, chiller, or air handler. The backlit LCD (128 x 64 pixels) gives you local status without a laptop; the real-time clock drifts less than 30 seconds a month, so time-stamped alarms stay useful. It’s a current-production part, so no hunting surplus or last-time buys.
Mixed I/O and comms in a slim package
Eight analog inputs configurable by pair — handle temperature probes (NTC, PTC, Pt1000), voltage (0–10 V or 0–5 V), or current (0–20 mA / 4–20 mA). The two analog outputs can do 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, or PWM at 2 kHz. Six relay outputs split as SPDT or SPST, each rated 3 A. Two digital inputs accept sink or source at 24 V AC/DC, sampling up to 2 kHz. Communication covers Ethernet (Modbus TCP, BACnet IP, webserver), two RS485 ports (Modbus serial or BACnet MS/TP), USB for programming, and a CAN port. All this fits in a 2.8 x 4.3 x 2.4 in package that snaps onto DIN rail.
